Knit-On

Thank you all for responding to my last post. You’re all very sweet for commenting and letting me know you read my blog. Receiving your comments was like getting one great big hug...greatly appreciated:)

I wanted to bring an opportunity forward to all who might be interested. Weeks back I had designed a T-shirt for the Harlot’s Represent. The design originated from an inspiration Stephanie's had passed on without even knowing it. At a book signing back in 2006, she had written “Knit-On” on the inside page of my book. Those words rang very deep with me, to the point that when a request for a Knitter’s Slogan came around...it was the first thing to pop into my head. At the beginning of April, the Harlot made her presence and I presented her with my creation. A t-shirt with the slogan: Knit-On. It’s a Lifestyle.

I decided to offer up the last remaining t-shirts as part of my donation to the 3-Day Cancer Walk. Several good friends of mine are taking part in the Chicago event come August 10-12, 2007 and I want to support them as best I can. What a better way to give then to help friends. The donations gathered from these t-shirts will be split among the knitter-3-day-walkers: Aleta, Rebecca, Mary Bridget and who could forget the knitter-hubby Jason.

There are Six XL Beef-Tee shirts remaining from the first batch and the T-shirts will be sold for $20 (this includes shipping). If demand increases after these have been taken, then production will take some time to produce more. If you are interested in placing an order, please email me at mommy_of_mac AT yahoo DOT com (replace the AT with @ and the DOT with . ) First come, first serve – if you get a message reply of “On Back Order”, just know that your t-shirt is in the production phase. I will except Paypal or personal checks (once received and money is transferred, tee will be shipped).

Add one t-shirt to the total number available to trade for donations. I wound up with two, remember? One will come back to you next week.

But I'm keeping one. Mine! It's my favorite sleeping shirt. :)
