It's Only Monday?

My heart is a thumping and I’m super nervous? Why you ask. I’m crushing on Stephanie Pearl-McPhee. Last year, I had just gotten to know her blog and had whipped thru her book right before book signing. I went and was star struck by how well she could see into my soul. She said everything that I could not and now this amazing woman was sitting right in front me and what did I say? Was I prepared? Hell-No!!! AHHHHH! I told her she was an amazing writer and knitter. That was it. I wanted to run and hide. I don’t do well in situations like that, and most people who know me, know I’m quite and have to think thru what I want to say and how I want to say it. I’m not sure, but I believe most people to be very witty and able to work a the fly. That isn’t me. So, I’m writing a speech. Yes, I’m a dork, but if I want to say all I can tomorrow, I have to...other wise I’d more then likely, say “your cool” and that would be it. Go ahead and laugh...I know I am.

I have gifts to bring and hopefully she will be awed by them. I know the Froebe Fiber clan will not be able to attend and so I will bring stuff;) I too have something for the Harlot and I truly hope she likes...I’ll post more about that tomorrow as I’m hoping (fingers-crossed) that the package comes soon. Otherwise this teaser is nothing but a very bad and late April Fools joke.

Alas, I gauged for the candy Trekking socks and I’m getting 10 stitches to the inch...ouch, I think I’ll just wait till the STR twisted rib socks are off the needles or is this reason enough to purchase two extra Addi Turbo size 1 circ’s? At 13 bucks a pop...maybe not;)

Nope. Haven't figured it out. I'm still waiting for the food coma to wear off before I try to use my brain.

I'm going to try loading pictures into google's photo album thingie and see if that works. I don't know what else to do!

And, fwiw, I get a little starstruck around writers I admire, too.

I'm a little jealous. I have to work tonight, otherwise I'd be there, too. Have lots of fun listening to her and weirding out the non-knitters. :)

And your socks look great, btw. I bet people have aleady suggested it to you, but there's always KnitPicks Options if Addis are too expensive.
