Day 90-365: Hitting the Trail
It was so bright and sunny that walking on the trail was the place to be. Getting the biker in the shot was a fluke, but love how he just popped into view.

Day 89-365: Comfy Corner
Found a great little corner that I could escape to... even for just a little bit. I liked seeing the repeating reflections put out by the double mirrors.

This is a bird house that my husband and daughter built last fall. Although the name condo fits the description better then house because of the four little compartments.

Looking around the backyard I noticed that my tulips are popping up. I can't wait for spring to come. These low temps have been hard to bare.

Day 84-365: Peace
Out and about today and with winter still holding on as we approach April, I'm still wearing the winter gear. I liked the shadows on the sidewalk and figured it would look cool to toss a peace sign to everyone!

Day 82-365: Jewelers Row
Made a short one block trip to the post office in the Jewelers Center. Floor after floor of diamonds and jewels. Quite a place to see all kinds of goodies.

Took a trip to Indiana today to visit a knitting store called Sheep's Clothing. Cute shop, friendly staff and a gourmet cupcake shop just next door. Plus the sign is just adorable!

Southwest Tower: Defense, By - Henry Hering (Unveiled: 1928)
Defense portrays the Fort Dearborn Massacre of August 15, 1812, during the war of 1812. Over 50 people were killed by Potawatomi warriors allied with British as they evacuated Fort Dearborn and marched towards Fort Wayne, Indiana.
